13 November 1900 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Tuesday. 13th [November 1900]. Several people came to tea & amongst them Countess Olga Mocenigo who is only here for 2 days. She comes from paying a visit to the Bentivoglios at Vescovana & stayed a long time talking of the place & telling me about the life the new owners lead there. It seems they are trying to keep up all the works of Countess Pisani & that they are worthy of the trust she placed in them when she left them the property. | |
