Sunday. 23rd [December 1900]. Went to morning service. The new Italian organist played very well. At last we had a little rain but it was of short duration. I went to the service at the Sailor’s Inst: in the evening– A small congregation. Mr Christie gave the address. He walked home with me as far as my door. | |
