16 January 1901 — Rome | |
Wednesday. 16th [January 1901]. I got out my tools & wax &c & began to model a little figure. Went to lunch with Countess Brazzà. Donna Laura Minghetti called for me in her brougham & took me for a drive by the Ponti Molle & we went to Mme de Westenberg’s & she showed us the Burano lace handkerchief & fan she is going to give as a present in the wedding of Queen Wilhelmina. From there I walked home. Dined at home & played patience in evening. | |
