21 April 1901 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Sunday. 21st [April 1901]. Went to morning service. Afternoon called on Countess Brandolin & left other cards– Went to see Fannie Browning who was in bed—but not really ill & in good humour. I have now little pleasure in seeing her since she has been so odd to me after my trouble about her & her husband. But I am glad that we should be on good terms. I went to afternoon service at 5.30 & then home– Wrote many letters after dinner. | |
