6 May 1901 — Ca’ Capello, Venice
Monday. 6th May [1901]. The Kennedys went out with their children & I modelled all morning. The man who casts in bronze came to see me & arranged to cast my statuette in silver & another in stagno which I believe to be pewter. He says it is the metal now much used. After lunch had visit from Baroness Franchetti– The Kennedys went out & I worked till tea time at copying pictures & did not go out at all all the day. Iduna Bel. dined with us.
