Tuesday. 18th [June 1901]. We all three Kate, Nellie & I dined with Theo & Merthyr at the Alexandra Hotel where they are staying for a time. Met Richard Du Cane, Dacre—also Mr Gould & a Mr Clark of S. Kensington Museum. The men remained talking & in the dining room so long that we ladies could not wait to see them & we went home at 11. | |
