Tuesday. [9th July 1901]. Pablo Casals came to luncheon with us & I took him afterwards to the National Gallery for an hour & showed him some of the best pictures. He was especially delighted with the British school which is not at all known in Spain & only lately in France. Today is the anniversary of Henry’s funeral. | |
