19 August 1901 — En route to United States | |
Monday. 19th [August 1901]. Sea less smooth. Able to be at lunch—but succumbed in afternoon—bitterly cold– Went to dinner & had to fly to my cabin in the middle of it. Only Nellie & Aubrey Hollingworth were there besides myself—& Miss Howe. The others did not appear. We had a tossing night. Made 450 miles. | |
