9 January 1902 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Thursday. 9th [January 1902]. Modelled all the morning– Went out in gondola, called on Mme Reinelt– Mme Agnelli called at tea time. She is wife of an Italian naval officer—& is half English– Prof. Trombini dined with us & afterwards did photos of me by magnesic light to make experiments as he wanted to try to photograph me in the frame to perpetuate the tableaux we had on Christmas Eve. I have left the frame up in the doorway in the long hall in order to let him try– | |
