Friday. 10th [January 1902]. There was a thick white fog today so we did not stir out & Emilia & I set to work at arranging Henry’s correspondence—looking through the letters, destroying some & counting & tying it up– I read aloud “La Princess Lointaine” by Rostand. It is poetical but false sentiment & mawkish I think. | |
