23 February 1902 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Sunday. 23rd [February 1902]. Lovely day– Went to morning service taking Iduna with me. We walked afterwards to the Piazza & home by the Merceria & traghetto. At 4 fetched Iduna & went to tea with her at Baroness Reinelt where we met Carry Eden. Afterwards I went to a meeting at the “Unione per il bene.” I found only 4 members. We discussed whether it were possible to get good cheap literature printed & to begin to start an Asilo for waifs & strays. Came to no conclusion. I walked home. | |
