16 August 1902 — Milton Court, nr. Dorking, Surrey | |
Saturday. 16th [August 1902]. I drove over directly after breakfast to Fredley to see Mrs Kay—Henry’s old friend– Found Mr Ormerod there & sat & had a chat in the garden– Mr Somerset Beaumont & Verona Brooke came to lunch & afterwards drove me back to Hurstcote to stay there. Nellie joined me from London & Capt. Wyld was also there—also Mr Tyrell—& Miss May Beaumont, our host’s niece. | |
