31 January 1903 — 3 Savile Row
Saturday. 31st [January 1903]. Aunt Felicia came to see me this morning & bought some of the bead chains I make & sell for the Venice Hospital– Connie came in just afterwards & remained on to luncheon and went out with me & Nellie in the car & we took her back to her own house 8 Onslow Gardens & left her & then went off to Lancaster Gate to call on Mrs Richards, the kind rich American Lady who came last year to my drawing sale—but did not find her at home—then back to Eaton Place to see Elaine & her little girl as they leave town on Monday. When I got back home to tea I found Mary Alderson waiting to see us. Nela lunched here before leaving town for good. Sir Robert & Lady Borwick, Capt. Wyld, Mr Hamilton of the V. & Murano Company, & Duncannon & Blanche dined with me. Blanche arrived this morning from Ireland. Had a few moments talk with her after dinner in my bedroom & she made me rather anxious as to the state of her health.
