Wednesday. 29th [July 1903]. This morning’s post brought me news of the severe illness of Bertie Ponsonby & how the Duncannons had been telegraphed to go to him at Strasburg & they had carried him back to London. I telegraphed for news & the answer is “no change.” It seems to be a head attack from over work. | |
