19 April 1904 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Tuesday. 19th [April 1904]. I got a note in the morning from Css Anina Morosini to ask if I would put off my reception this evening & if the P. & Pss would go to the Fenice Concert. This was impossible & the Princess declined. We went after lunch to the Lido & had tea with the Montalbas in their cabin. Coming home the Duke of Somerset came in the gondola with us & we went to Css Belmondos for a short time. I received in the evening & a good many people came tho’ many went to the concert instead. | |
