Thursday. 7th [July 1904]. It was quite hot again today. Genl de Horsey came to tea with me & also Mr Merrick & his daughter in law “Mrs Sam”– After that I went out for a while—to the Edens garden & looked in to the Cos: Hos. After dinner I called for Carry & we had a “float” till bed time. | |
