17 July 1904 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Sunday. 17th [July 1904]. Went to morning service & then sat at home quietly resting, reading & embroidering for the rest of the day. Dined at 7 & went to the sailor’s Inst: service at 8 oclock. Went in gondola & then took Mr Harston home afterwards & went on for a row. The thermometre over 88º. Almost the hottest day we have had. | |
