Thursday. 29th [September 1904]. The Count came at 7.45 & after dinner we went out to the Piazza to hear the concertona of 3 bands who played the battle of S. Martino with accompaniment of bugle & shots fired from different corners of the Square. Unfortunately the evening was showery but it held up for the “Battle”– | |
