20 March 1905 — 3 Savile Row
Monday. 20th [March 1905]. Nellie came in the morning to take my last instructions about the letting of this house & Blanche fetched us both in her motor brougham & drove us to Victoria station. Connie met us there & I left for Paris at 11 o’cl. Had a splendid crossing & a very fine mild day & reached Paris at 8.45. Mr Bélard sent to meet me & I was glad to find myself once more in quiet at the Hotel St Romain 7 Rue S. Roch. Bélard is very proud at having lately introduced electric light into his establishment.
