| 8 September 1905 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
| Friday. 8th [September 1905]. Weather very hot again. Heavy scirocco. Mr Seale the chaplain called at 3—& afterwards I went out to the Curtis & had tea with them—then went on to the hospital to pay a visit to Miss Rome sister of Sister Rome who is staying there; a very delicate girl. After dinner I went out in gondola for a float. Sear the cook arrived at midnight from London. | |
