18 July 1906 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Wednesday. 18th [July 1906]. Had a nice quiet day modelling the angel which began to show itself. Went out after tea. Mr Montalba came to call at tea time. I took him as far as Rialto & then went on as far as the Sailor’s Inst: where I saw Mr Fussey & had a talk with him over his work which he seems to be doing very well. After dinner took Carry Eden out for a row. | |
