30 October 1906 — Rome | |
Tuesday. 30th [October 1906]. Olga & I went to dine with Mrs Hunter at Hotel de Londra to meet Mr Sargent & his sister. Mrs H. had been staying with the Curtis & also the Sargents & they have all come on to Rome together. Mr Sargent played piano duetts with Lady Egerton which were neither pretty nor harmonious. Mr S. plays nicely for an amateur but not like Olga. We did not remain out late. | |
