9 June 1907 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Sunday. 9th [June 1907]. Went to church at 10.30. After lunch I went out in gondola to Hotel de Milan to see Canon & Mrs Ragg. The latter is going away on Tuesday with the baby. I went to the Eden’s garden & sat talking to Mr Eden & had tea with him. Then looked in to the Cos: Hospital which is getting on towards completion & order. Then home & at 6 went out in gondola with Angela Reinelt. She brought me back at 7.30 & I went to the service at the sailor’s inst: at 8 with Baker. Dined on my return at 9 & early to bed. | |
