1 August 1907 — Ca’ Capello, Venice
Thursday. 1st August [1907]. I took a warm bath with Salzo Maggiore salts & afterwards had my wrists & knees massé by Sister Kate who came over from the hospital. This is a cure for rheumatism ordered by Dr Sacchi—nous verrons! I was lazy all the day afterwards. Old General de Horsey came to tea & we took a turn in gondola together.
