2 August 1907 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Friday. 2nd [August 1907]. Bath. Arbib brought Marzollo the manager of the V. Murano here to talk to me about the state of the affair & we concluded to write home on the matter. I went at 5 to the Genl to meet Mme Noce at tea & we were going on after to the hospital but found it was too late so I went just to the Arbibs for a short time & then came home to dinner. Found Arbib very depressed. After dinner Malagola came in, & Bianca & Marcello Arbib also as they want to consult him on Venetian studies wh they are anxious to make. I lent them a book & they went home very pleased. | |
