22 October 1907 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Tuesday. 22nd October [1907]. The Aldersons & Mr Hailstone left on their journey south. There was a thick fog in the early morning & I did not move out all day, but in the evening had my usual “at home” & many friends came viz Sir Luke & Lady Fildes (who now have an apartment here), Mr Curtis & Mr & Mrs Baddeley, Mr & Mrs Merrick (US), Sr Aldo Ravà & his bride, Mr & Miss Symons-Jeune, Mr & Mrs Perry, Miss Chaffey & Mr Spender– | |
