Thursday. 16th [January 1908]. Kate went off to the dentist at 10 & I got up latish. Kate returned about 12. After lunch we went out to St Margarets Westr to show Kitty the tablet I have put there in remembrance of my Henry. We took a taximeter & drove to Eccleston Sqr to see old Lady Bessborough but she was not in so we came home. Elaine Villiers came to see us, Lady Selkirk & Alice Murray. Then Reggie Alderson & later Arthur DC. & Gus Alderson who stayed to dinner. | |
