24 January 1908 — 3 Savile Row
Friday. 24th [January 1908]. Alice did not sleep here after all– I went to Dr Luff at 11—& he was pleased with my progress. Afterwards took my 10th bath of wh the Dr says I must take 18. It was foggy all day but less so than yesterday. Molly Humphrey fetched me at 3 & took me out in her carriage. We went to Brunswick Sqr to call on Mrs Eddie Eliot a very nice little house & she was at home—& having carpets &c arranged—after going on to leave various cards she brought me home to tea. Edward dined with us. Having just returned from Ireland. Blanche expected tomorrow.
