4 June 1908 — Ca’ Capello, Venice
Thursday. 4th [June 1908]. Typed out programme for tomorrow eveng’s Trios. Modelled– Mr Hulton called abt 10 to arrange for an Institute Come meeting. Mr Curtis came to have a chat. Canon Ragg came in. It was a very hot day. At 4 I went to the hospital to see Miss Milman on various small matters. Ola & Aline went off to photograph on the lagoons & returned to the Eden’s garden to pick me up & we floated on the lagoons & round by San Giorgio to get the air. We found the Montalbas doing the same & we floated side by side in our gondolas chatting & made a plan to go to tea on the Lido with them on Saty. We went home to dinner & then to Lady Radnor’s Madrigal party. The singing was rather better than it had been last time I was there. There were a good many other people there. At 11 we had refreshments & so home.
