28 June 1908 — Canford Manor, nr. Wimborne, Dorset | |
Sunday. 28th [June 1908]. I went with Cornelia to the morning service. Ivor was very confused today & there was no talking to him. He walked abt 9 himself or with his nurses. These sudden changes seem to be usual & inexplicable. Freddy Guest arrived in the afternoon. I sat with Oscar in the sitting room of the new wing & we had 5 o’cl tea there, leaving Ivor & Cornelia in the tent to have tea alone. I went to the evening service at 8.30. There was evening communion which is a thing one rarely sees in England now. | |
