17 September 1908 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Thursday. 17th [September 1908]. I took it easy this morning. Unpacked & settled down. After lunch I went in gondola to the Hospital where I found all going on well. Met many patients just now. Sat in garden & had tea with Miss Chaffey. Afterwards landed at Piazza & walked home by Rialto. There I met Mr Ball & he accompanied me home & sat here awhile talking. | |
