Saturday. 3rd [October 1908]. I was better & able to get up by lunch time, but did not go out. Send the Guiccioli out in gondola in the afternoon & when they returned she was unwell & had to go to bed. The Canon dined out so I & Guiccioli dined en tête a tête & played patience afterwards. | |
