Friday. 9th [October 1908]. I went in the afternoon to pay the old Genl de Horsey a visit & found him rather ailing & wrapped in his dressing gown. Corise’s friend Mrs Jefferson called on me—also Mr & Mrs Vicars—he our consul at Lyons—nice people. Lady Radnor also. | |
