29 March 1909 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Monday. 29th [March 1909]. Sra Malagola came to see me in the morning & I walked with her to Sig. Arbib’s house. We met Sig. Malagola en route & he accompanied us to the door of Arbib’s where they left me. I went to asked the Arbibs to give me some venetian beads for necklaces & they kindly did so. I returned home to lunch. I went after lunch to the Raggs to see the furniture they want to sell as they are leaving Venice for good to our great regret at end of April. There was a Benedetto Marcello concert this evening in the Fenice theatre—the violinist Keigler– I sent Ola & Oscar to it & remained quietly at home– Com. Malagola came in to have a chat for an hour. | |
