13 May 1909 — Ca’ Capello, Venice
Thursday. 13th May [1909]. Count Seckendorff & Pss Thurn et Taxis left me today for Munich. Hallam also went off to Milan to meet his wife who is coming fm England on her way to Florence. Augusta Gregory arrived to stay with me– She has not been here for some time– Looks fagged—overworks herself with looking after the property & running Irish plays in Dublin & London. Her own plays have been a success. She has much Irish humour.
