Saturday. 15th [May 1909]. Hallam returned from Milan. I went today to bid good bye to Mrs Eram who has given all her furniture to be sold for the benefit of the Cosmopolitan Hospital. She leaves tomorrow & was busy packing. Poor thing she is rather in a dazed state since the death of her husband. | |
