Wednesday. 26th [May 1909]. A good many people came in the morning amongst them a Dr Haydon who wished to make enquiries about settling at Venice to practice from wh I rather dissuaded him. We spoke of the Cos. Hospital & he said he would try to get for it a grant from the League of Mercy of wh he is a member. | |
