Thursday. 27th [May 1909]. Hallam Murray left me today for Florence where he has gone to join his wife. Nelly Forbes & I dined with Lady Radnor & heard excruciating glees song by English residents & conducted by our hostess Lady Gregory who dined with Mrs Curtis joined me there—as did Violet & Ola who dined at La Calcina so we gave my household a much needed rest. | |
