Monday. 31st [May 1909]. Mrs Burns (Pierpont Morgan’s sister) & her friend Mrs Abbott both staying on the yacht Corsair came to see me & invited us to tea on board tomorrow. We all went to a very pretty party given this evening by Lady Helen Vincent in her apartment in Pal. Giustinian. It was very pleasant & our hostess looked lovely. | |
