1 June 1909 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Tuesday. 1st June [1909]. We all went to tea with Mrs Burns & then she & I went to the Giudecca & I showed her over the Cos. Hospital wh she has always subscribed to. She is anxious I should buy the old cottage next door to it & told me to let her know about it & she wd help me to find the money & was very encouraging. Received in the evening & had a good many English people amongst them Lord & Lady Mount Garrett. | |
