17 June 1909 — Mezzaratta, Bologna | |
Thursday. 17th [June 1909]. We breakfasted at 12 & sat talking in the veranda till 2 when Da Laura retired for her siesta. At 5 we had tea & then walked up to the Villa Franck where Css Zucchini is in villeggiatura. Donna Laura walked up quite briskly despite her 80 years. It began to rain just as we got there so we could not remain but hurried back to Mezzaratta. | |
