6 July 1909 — Carlsbad | |
Tuesday. 6th [July 1909]. Took my first mud bath today while Baker went to the station to meet my sister Constance who arrived from London to take the cure. She travelled with Mrs Bulkeley Johnston whom we had met here last year & who took rooms at a Villa close by us. We went to lunch together at the Hannover & before supper I took a turn by myself while Connie rested & we supped at Han: & bed at 10. | |
