23 August 1909 — Bessborough, Fiddown, County Kilkenny | |
Monday. 23rd [August 1909]. Blanche & Felicia went off to Castle McGarrett by a very early train on a visit to the Oranmores. I & Edward left for London by the 11 a.m. train. Had a splendid crossing from Rosslare to Fishguard & we had tea on board before landing. Arrived at Paddington Ed. & I went to our respective homes. We had dined in the train—to bed on arrival. | |
