28 January 1910 — 3 Savile Row
Friday. 28th [January 1910]. Another headache & I was in bed all day. I begin to fear Fridays—this being the third I have been laid up. Yesterday was the election day for E. Dorset & today we heard that Freddy Guest was returned to Parliament as a Radical—for which I am very sorry. His mother has worked hard to get him in & she, at least, must be pleased—tho’ the rest of us are not. Nellie & Charlie returned to Tile Hse today. Eda Alderson came to see me & sat some time talking. She returns tomorrow to Lutterworth. Lady Gregory took Kate again to the theatre to see Tree in “Beethoven” & came back very pleased.
