Wednesday. 23rd [February 1910]. I remained in bed. I had invited Miss Hastings to lunch—an American lady who has an apartment at Venice. Nellie entertained her & she sat with me a little while afterwards. Evely Eliot came to tea with me. I dined in my room, the Wylds dined out. | |
