28 March 1910 — Ca’ Capello, Venice
Monday. 28th [March 1910]. Easter Monday. Went to morning service & afterwards to see Angela. The girls here had letters saying that their sister Daisy is very ill at Ballards from blood poisoning wh has shown itself in erysipelas of the head. They telegraphed for news. Nela & I went out in gondola paying many visits & leaving cards on many who were out. Came in to tea & had visits from Mr & Mrs E. Moore & Princess Salm a lively Austrian lady who lives a good deal in England. Answer about Daisy state not very reassuring.
