13 August 1910 — Axenstein | |
Saturday. 13th [August 1910]. Baron de Bülow left us having to return to Berne to be present at the fêtes in honor of the President of the French Rep. who was paying a visit to Switzerland. The Dss of Sermoneta & her nice & good looking daughter also left & I had alone the care of Da Laura. I took her for a walk in the grounds & we sat down here & there & talked. In the evening she & I played écarté a short time before we went to bed. | |
