9 September 1910 — Salce, Belluno | |
Friday. 9th September [1910]. After lunch I finished reading aloud to Carry Trevelyan’s “Garibaldi” which we had enjoyed very much. Mme Wiel came over to tea & afterwards I drove into Belluno with Carry & bought a pair of soft cotton blankets for use at Venice. Played our last game of double patience in the evening before bed time. | |
