28 September 1910 — Ca’ Capello, Venice
Wednesday. 28th [September 1910]. Mlle Dussau came at 10 & I taught her to make bead chains with wire links such as I make in quantities. She wants to teach her pupil Princess Mary to make them. I doubt she will care to spoil her fingers at such work. Mlle D. was a very apt pupil & learnt at once. I gave the gondola over to the Adys & Mr A. to go to S. Rosa & Lido & I took a walk to the Piazza & back in the afternoon. I met Mr Albert Ball & asked him to come to dinner wh he did.
