14 December 1910 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Wednesday. 14th [December 1910]. Miss Chaffey came over from the Hospital to lunch with me. Afterwards I went to the sewing party at Miss Bowyer’s where there were a good many ladies of the Linen League at work for the hospital. I dined at 7.30 & went directly afterwards to the Sailors Institute where there was the usual weekly concert wh was a very successful one, 107 men present & some quite good singing & violin playing. | |
